Former SNL star and Ghostbusters actress Kristen Wiig scored this awesome modern home in LA. The floor plan is so wide open, you could park several cars in the living room. The outdoor bar and patio area is perfect for entertaining and the pool really puts a cherry on top of this amazing contemporary home.
The Voice star Adam Levine listed this amazing LA home in November. The living area show above could easily be used as a department store floor, due to its massive openness. The master suite has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the pool and a breathtaking view of Beverly Hills. Plus, it’s got a super-cool blue theater room for watching America’s Got Talent. Just kidding, Adam!
If you like classic decor, The Great One’s home in Westlake Village would be right up your alley. He unloaded it for $3.4 million in early December. The new homeowners will enjoy a double-island kitchen, an absolutely gorgeous pool and surprisingly, no ice skating rink.
Apparently, Simon Cowell gave this amazing Malibu compound a yes earlier this month. It has lots of marble, a stunning ocean view and one of the coolest master bathrooms we’ve seen in a while. This is a quintessential Hollywood mansion, evident especially in the outdoor living area. The pool, seating areas and views are truly remarkable.
After his unfortunate passing last year, news came out that Prince had actually purchased the home from the film Purple Rain. According to Curbed, Prince bought the home just a few years before his death. It’s no Hollywood mansion, but it was apparently a sentimental choice for Prince. The Minneapolis home was listed for just $110,000 in July of 2015.
This 6 bedroom, 8 bathroom retreat in Santa Barbara was owned by talk show host and professional dancer Ellen DeGeneres. It’s got modern amenities and old world details all over, including a pavillion designed to look like a 17th century Tuscan Villa. Pretty amazing place, and it’ll only set you back $45 million!
Faith and Tim bought the property where their new paradise is located back in 2003, but didn’t finish the updates until earlier this year. Curbed calls it “indoor-outdoor living at its best” and we agree. The home was featured in Architectural Digest, showing off the stunning living spaces that flow beautifully from indoors to outdoors with incredible ocean views.
Our favorite TV Realtor, Ty Burrell sold another one! This time it was his own $1.4 million penthouse in Culver City, California. We’re assuming he used an actual realtor for the sale instead of just winging it from what’s learned playing one on TV!
Ever wonder what 10 acres on the California Coastline goes for? How about when it’s owned by Kevin Costner? Well, if you guessed $60 Million, you’d be right! According to Page Six, the actor once considered building a home on the land, but has since decided to put it on the market. Next time he’s at Wonders of Wildlife, you can tell him you bought his land!
America’s dad, Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson recently sold side-by-side mansions in California for a cool $17.5 million. One of the homes is a Spanish Villa that dates back to 1933 and it’s beautiful! The other is 1950s English Cottage-style home and it’s also pretty amazing. For the price tag, it better be!
According to Page Six, this is the only home Marilyn Monroe ever owned and it was the site of her apparent overdose back in 1962. She originally paid just $80,000 for the home, which sold most recently for over $7 million!
Tony Stark’s home in the Iron Man trilogy doesn’t actually exist. It was digitally created by the filmmakers, so RDJ bought one that really does exist that is strikingly similar to the on screen mansion. It’s not quite as grand as the fictional home of Stark, but it’s a sight to behold nonetheless. It’s got a really great view with a deck looking over the ocean and a really cool pool! The outdoor living area is absolutely amazing. It has a large pool lined with trees to create a private area to enjoy the warm evenings in the area. The interior looks like its been taken straight from the pages of Dwell magazine. It’s expertly staged and has so many great features built in!
Beyonce and Jay-Z are more than just recording artists and business people, they’re also real estate moguls. Every year, they’re in the news for buying or selling massive estates all over the country. Last year, the couple famously purchased a $135 million Bel Air mansion that is absolutely mesmerizing. This year it was a $26 million Hampton’s estate. You name it, this place has it. Unbelievable place!
