It’s almost time to dust off the blankets from storage and settle in for cooler temps in the Ozarks. After a long week or even just a long day, one of our favorite things to do is chill by the fire at home. Whether it’s an authentic wood-burning ‘place or a convenient electric one, cracking a book by the warmth of the fireplace is one of the simple things we love about living in the Ozarks. If you’re looking for a home with some pedigree, check this one out. It was featured in the 2012 Parade of Homes and is one of the most exquisite homes in the Villages at Wicklow. This fireplace doesn’t play around. It goes nearly all the way up to the super-high ceilings with beautiful, detailed molding. This spot looks like a great place to have a family game night to us.
