Kansas

They are writers of 10 gold albums and three platinums and appeared on the Billboard charts for an astonishing 200 straight weeks in the 1970s and 1980s. This iteration of the band features two original members and all the original energy!

WWE Live

Another killer show at the Ozarks Amphitheater, grammy nominated platinum recording artist Wiz Khalifa will be performing at the lake. He’ll bring a slew of other rappers along with him for what will be a fun show for fans of hip hop. Wiz’s two best known songs are “Black & Yellow,” which peaked at number one on the Billboard chart overall and “See You Again,” from the motion picture Furious 7 which was a tribute to actor Paul Walker.

Jim Gaffigan

When: August 15 | 7:30 PM

Where: JQH Arena

Tickets are on sale now to see one of the funniest and cleanest comedians working today, Jim Gaffigan. His humor is observational stuff mostly based around foodstuffs. His legendary Hot Pockets material will have you on the floor laughing before you head out to this show of completely new material. Gaffigan is a family man, which shows up frequently in his act and he doesn’t do toilet humor. Well, at least not the bad language kind.

Chris Stapleton

When: October 3 | 7pm

Where: JQH Arena

This show is currently sold out, but we thought we’d include it anyway because it’s Chris Freaking Stapleton! Now you probably already know about the man, but did you know that he was a songwriter before making his own music? He wrote songs for Luke Bryan, George Strait, Adele, Brad Paisley and more. His own stuff is responsible for 5 Grammys, 10 CMA awards and 6 ACM awards. There’s a reason it’s sold out, folks.

Shinedown

When: October 5 | 6:15 PM

Where: JQH Arena

The owners of the number two spot all time on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock list for number one songs, Shinedown will be playing a show in the Q to promote their new album Attention, Attention. Joining them on tour is early 2000s rockers Papa Roach along with Asking Alexandria and Savage After Midnight.

 Miranda Lambert

When: October 25 | 7PM

Where: JQH Arena

Platinum recording artist and country music superstar Miranda Lambert will be gracing the stage at JQH on October 25th in Springfield. She’s on the road with her Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars tour and is playing all her classic hits. It will almost certainly be a near sold out show, so you might wanna grab those tickets fast!

Napoleon Dynamite

When: November 15 | 8 pm

Where: The Gillioz Theater

Even if you’ve seen it 100 times before, Napoleon Dynamite still has laughs you can enjoy again and again. In this very special screening of the cult classic comedy, visitors to the Gillioz will be in for an additional treat. Three integral cast members from the film will be present to discuss the movie’s impact with the crowd! Napoleon Dynamite himself, Jon Heder will be joined by John Gries (AKA Uncle Rico) and Efren Ramirez, better known from the film as Pedro.

Demetri Martin

When: November 17 | 7:00 p.m.

Where: Gillioz Theater

Fans of Conan O’Brien and The Daily Show when Jon Stewart was still hosting will no doubt be familiar with Demetri Martin. He’s the scruffy New York comedian who displays a wide range of talent in his acts including drawing, music and of course quite a few laughs. He’s a quirky guy who will keep you on your toes and make you laugh in ways you didn’t think were possible. Plus, he’s mostly a clean comedian.

 CATS

When: June 2-4, 2020

Where: Juanita K. Hammons Hall

The 2019-2020 season at Juanita K. is going to be huge. In addition to one of the most popular Broadway plays of all time in CATS, they’ll also be featuring Les Miserables, Waitress and Escape to Margaritaville. Now is a great time to become a season ticket holder if you love the theater. If you don’t love it yet, try it out. They put on one heck of a show!
