7 Ways to Celebrate Valentine’s Day 2018 in Springfield

There are so many fun ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day here in Springfield this year.  Whether it’s getting creative, treating yourself, or going to a concert, you’ll be sure to find something you and your significant other will love.  If you’re planning to go out, reservations are a must!  So here are a few ways to keep it local and have a good time on Valentine’s Day.


Dinner at Aviary Cafe – Feb 14

If you’re looking for some local charm, the Aviary Cafe’s Valentine’s Day service promises plenty of romance with a touch of whimsy! They are accepting reservations for a three course meal that includes an appetizer, entrees, and dessert. You can enjoy with a bottle of house wine for $75 per couple, or without wine for $50 per couple. Some specials on the menu include Cranberry Peppercorn Pork and a Black & Blue Flat Iron steak!


Creative Escape Glass Valentine’s Date Night Creating – Feb 14

From 6:30-9:30pm, join Creative Escape Glass with your special someone for an evening of creating! You can make a beautiful fused glass project together–No glass experience is necessary. Reservations are definitely required! Call (417) 693-4991 to register; it is $80 per couple paid in advance. You can choose between making one large plate as a joint project or two smaller separate projects!


Custom Flower Bouquet from Ozark Mountain Flower Truck – Feb 9th

Surprise your loved one with with a custom bouquet of flowers that you hand crafted yourself! Springfield’s very own original flower truck will be back from a  winter hibernation officially on February 9th, just in time for the Valentine’s holiday. You can check their Instagram for updates on where they will be throughout the city. They also do flower delivery!



Valentine’s Dinner & Dance at Pythian Castle – Feb 14

Try something new this holiday – a romantic dinner at Pythian Castle followed by a slow dancing lesson and open dancing! Champagne and a special Valentine’s dessert await you after the lesson. Call 417-865-1464 to book; reservations are required for this event. The cost is $40 per person plus tax. 7:00 pm check-in and 7:30 pm dinner!


Valentine’s Day at the Order at Hotel Vandivort – Feb 14-18

Enjoy a 4 course culinary delight by The Order! They are taking reservations for 5pm-10pm, $70 per person. The menu looks truly amazing including mouthwatering appetizers, fresh picked salads, and handcrafted main entrees. Check out all the offerings below! Romantic additions are available upon request, including chocolate covered strawberries, a bottle of champagne/wine, or fresh roses! Valentine’s Spa Packages at Grove Spa – Feb 5 – Feb 17

Looking to treat yourself and your significant other to some extra pampering and relaxation? Look no further than Grove Spa! They have a variety of special spa packages going on for the Valentine’s holiday.  Grove has enjoyed spreading the love in Springfield for over 22 years!
