Fair Grove is located about 14 miles north of Springfield on Highway 65. The 2014 census counted 1,522 citizens. Consistent growth and homes for sale is the plan for the inhabitants that are proud of their community and especially their historic 1883 Wommack Mill. The old mill is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Boegel & Hine Mill. Fair Grove is well known for its schools, housing developments, parks and small town style of living with a sense of community.

These businesses consists of 3 banks, a supermarket, pharmacy, 2 farm stores, Dollar General, convenience store, O'Reilly Auto Parts, amazing restaurants such as Odd Fellows and Old Mill Café, as well as many others.
